Artistic Vision

Emily Black is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and performer with a dance and drama background based in Scotland.

She is driven to make performing arts accessible for all regardless of whether or not someone identifies as having a disability. She believes that everyone has the right to be equally involved in performing and viewing work.

In order to do this she is going to use disability accessible venues, and explore sensory relaxed performances. Alongside researching ways to incorporating sign, audio description and subtitles in her work.
